In a tweet on Twitter, Electronic Arts (EA), Battlefield 3 game publisher announced that it has imposed a ban on hundreds of Battlefield 3 players accounts found to be due to use cheat to improve their stat. One of the cheats that are found actually comes from a glitch found in the game itself. The glitch allows a player to use the Engineer class to collect tens of thousands of points in one game. Obviously this is very annoying for the other players who play honestly.
EA said that they knew no mercy when dealing with things like that. Even EA announced that they will not tolerate players who play the game without integrity. EA said that they would continue to impose a ban on the cheaters who are "exploiting" glitch and said that currently they are developing a patch that will fix the glitch.
